Are you good at being the "font of all knowledge" for LC/MS chemists? If you have strong LC/MS methods development experience in the lab and like to travel, move yourself into a leading company as you promote new products. Get OUT of that lab and start having fun. Opportunity: You will be the "LC/MS expert" who can quickly develop new LC/MS methods to show prospective customers a demonstration of how our fine LC/MS equipment analyzes their sample. Customer samples come from pharma firms as well as forensics, environmental, educational, and clinical areas. You will quickly develop a method to analyze the sample, develop a customer demo, and work with the sales force to get the technical sale going either at your own lab or anywhere in the US. Gain the trust of important lab personnel at customer site, as you demonstrate the LC/MS, and answer questions. Once customers see you demonstrate the great method you developed to analyze their sample, and how great the equipment works, they will turn to the salesperson and place the order, right? In addition to developing methods and demos, you will be the person our sales staff will depend on for technical sales support; you will teach them how to sell this equipment more effectively, and accompany them as needed on other sales calls so you can give a "chemist to chemist" birds-eye view of the advantages of our equipment and make sure the product will do the analysis the customer needs. You may even find yourself "driving" the sales support process. You will also enjoy some promotional work, and contribute to seminars/trade shows/lectures on LC/MS products. Also you will take charge of technical information on new products and keep up with the latest developments on new products and features. You will have your own brand new well-equipped lab at our local main office but your suitcase will get a workout too. You be part of an elite team of 7 LC/MS experts covering the US, so you can expect up to 50% travel all over the US. Compensation: Base Salary (depends on your education plus lab experience) AND commission AND company car/cell phone AND expenses AND full benefits.
