Job Summary

RN, CNII - Intermediate Surgical Care Unit

Requires graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing and one year of nursing experience. Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina by the NC Board of Nursing.

Intermediate Surgical Care Unit

We are a fast-paced 8-bed unit for postoperative patients requiring an intermediate level of care. We are dedicated to the optimal care of patients whose conditions fall under the auspices of renal and liver transplants, trauma, orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, and vascular, gastrointestinal and urological surgeries.

ISCU Strengths: The ISCU is fortunate to work with some of the best surgeons in the country, as well as a dynamic critical care team. The nurses are an integral part of that team as we assist our patients’ transition from intensive care to the acute care units.
