Job Description:

  • Responsible for leading and managing the technical performance, cost, and schedule of the Command and Control, Communications and Computer (C4) IT Support Program for the Army Signal Activity (ASA) in direct support of HQ USSOUTHCOM located in the Miami Florida area (Doral, FL)
  • The PM leads the program through all phases from inception to completion ensuring C4 mission effectiveness for USSOUTHCOM
  • Ensures that all resources such as engineering, manpower, production and facilities are available to support the program
  • Works closely with customers to determine needs, requirements and new business opportunities, and to translate those requirements into realities in support of the ASA and USSOUTHCOM C4 missions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Related Discipline
  • Minimum 10 years experience with the DoD Communications Community providing C4 support to the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and/or the Joint Arena
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Financial Management, Project Management, and Program Management
  • Ability to direct and implement staffing plans, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budget and financial terms/conditions of contract
  • Experience directing the work of employees assigned to the program from technical and administrative areas
  • Experience with MS Project and related PM tools
  • Experience leading teams in a dynamic environment
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT system lifecycle management and application requirements planning and development
  • Experience running a Help Desk for an organization of 2000+ personnel
  • Experience in Configuration Management

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Advanced Degree in Communications related field and/or PMP Certification
  • Joint and COCOM experience is definitely a plus
  • Experience in Business Process Analysis
  • Experience with EVMS
  • Minimal travel required
