Quality Control Engineer - Industrial Machining Company - Execute quality plans for machining



Quality Control Engineer

ABRASIVE-FORM is the most recognized source for production creep feed grinding services in the U.S. for over 30 years. As a result of our growth we are looking for someone to add to our Quality department.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the quality of customer parts through the manufacturing processes.
  • Analyzes and communicates non-conforming parts to the customers to obtain disposition and instruction.
  • Audit the activities for customer parts ensuring quality is maintained and gages are calibrated.
  • Complete Customer quality packages including PPAP, FAIR and understanding the application of CPK's.
  • Complete mechanical part layout.

Requirements:

  • Technical knowledge of quality principles.
  • Mechanical inspection technique and process controls.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 5+ years experience in an aerospace or automotive industry.
