We are looking to hire a full time Windows System Administrator for our Client in Sunnyvale, CA.

Responsibilities:

Installs and configures new servers and new workstations

Repairs and replaces hardware components

Performs backup and recovery activities on Win200/2003 and NT servers

Installs and integrates software on desktops and servers

Provides reconfiguration of servers/ workstations as required

Manages and resolves server and network related issues

Manages and resolves reported desktop problems

Manages and resolves reported printer problems

Procures hardware, software and license

New accounts setup

Requirements:

Excellent knowledge of Windows Windows2000/2003 operating systems

Excellent knowledge of Windows Active Directory

In depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP technologies.

Working knowledge of WAN and LAN technologies.

In depth knowledge of RAID and fault tolerant systems

Working knowledge of Enterprise backup and recovery of Symantec NetBackup

Ability to install and configure servers

Excellent troubleshooting skills

Ability to resolve complex support issues routinely

Knowledge of scripting languages

Solid PC printer knowledge

Strong communication & customer service skills

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

After hours and weekend support is required

Document standards, follow processes and procedures and work independently.
