Healthy Families Florida Program Supervisor: Childhood Development Services

This position supervises the Healthy Families Family Support Specialists and Family Assessment Specialist.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Supervise Family Support and Family Assessment Specialists
2. Maintain and update knowledge of community resources.
3. Preparing the required quarterly reports, annual reports and any other required reports deemed necessary by Healthy Families or CDS.
4. Complete required program related trainings.
5. Conduct home or field visits as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

1. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
2. One year of supervisory experience.
3. One year experience working with diverse families providing family services which embrace the concepts of family-centered and strength based service provision.
4. Experience in home visitation.
5. Experience providing services to culturally diverse communities and families.
6. Experience in prevention services to the 0 – 3 age population.
