MANUFACTURING TEST DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
We are currently looking for a Sr. Manufacturing Test Development Engineer. This opportunity is for an experienced self-starter who can drive activities to successful completion. The candidate will be tasked with developing automated test solutions to validate networking platforms and data collection/analysis tools. Responsibilities will include: defining test requirements, developing PC based software test applications and applets in Java, design analysis, test coverage analysis, documentation and test execution. Experience in OOD design, Java JDBC and database application with Oracle 10g/9i is a plus.
Required Experience:
8+ years
B.S or M.S. in EE or CS
Experience with Java (up to Java SE 5), swing, awt, networking, file manipulation, compiling and packaging (JAR).
Experience with unit, integration and system test concepts
Experience developing test procedures, both manual and automated
Experience with test automation tools and methodologies
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with cross-functional teams and leadership capabilities
Must have an excellent grasp of networking technologies and physical interfaces.
Possess a demonstrated track record of having contributed to planning and implementation of product test process.
Support NPI test process and assist Engineering with Prototype bring up.
Preferred Experience:
Object oriented design and analysis
Linux/Unix and Windows Experience
Experience with Linux server configuration.
Using Ethernet and serial ports for command and control.
Experience with Contract Manufacturer test process
Experience in networking equipment
Experience with UNIX based development systems and tools, including CVS for source code version control helpful.
Knowledge of Java JDBC, JDOM (XML interface), Netbeans IDE and Perl.
Experience with Oracle RDBMS. Good knowledge in SQL language/scripts, data modeling. Familiar with PL/SQL language, TOAD/iSQL*Plus tool is a big plus.
