Job Details:

LAB HOSPITAL SUPPORT

5:30am - 2:00pm Job Description:

Performs a variety of technical and administrative duties including dissemination of results, answering questions regarding specimen requirements, specimen collection procedures, turn-around times, pricing, and coordinating the delivery of reports and test supplies to client sites.

Job Requirements:

Equivalent to a high school diploma plus 1-3 years of additional training or experience in clinical laboratories, patient billing or physician office setting.   Requires lab-testing knowledge.  Familiar with Medical Terminology required.  Excellent PC skills.  Requires good customer relation’s skills.  Call center experience in a medical-related industry preferred.

Registrations in the admissions module accurately and performing insurance eligibility checking. Also requires understanding of lab billing. How to fix errors and edit accounts to process laboratory claims in a timely fashion. Must be able to type 50 wpm. Must be able to travel/work at multiple sites. primary location will be Biotech 3.
