Contracts Specialist
Job Description:
Assignments will include proposing, negotiating and managing contracts for the DoD in support of the Maverick Program within the Air Warfare Systems (AWS) Product Line. Will act as primary point of contact (internal and external) for all contractual matters as assigned. Will ensure that contractual obligations are met and are consistent with company policies and practices. Minimal travel required. May also involve some support to other programs within the AWS Product Line
Required Skills:
Minimum of two (2) years of related experience with US Government contracting, including proposal preparation and negotiation experience. Working knowledge of contract terms and conditions, including FAR and DFARS, and cost estimating principles. Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, and quantitative analysis skills.
Desired Skills:
Capable of multitasking and handling heavy workload. Computer proficiency, experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and shared data bases. Exisiting Secret Clearance preferred.
Required Education(including Major): Bachelors Degree (related fields)
