ENTERPRISE DATA WAREHOUSE SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT:
INGENIX has embarked on a mission to enable strategic business objectives by creating enterprise data integration and analytics capabilities that achieve the future state analytics architectural vision as outlined by its enterprise architecture team. The core of the Unified Data Warehouse (UDW) program is the creation of an enterprise data warehouse (EDW) that provides the enterprise with a predictable, integrated and consistent source of truth for business analytics.
As part of the Solutions Architecture team in the Ingenix Information Technology Delivery (ITD) Foundational Services organization, you have the opportunity to fulfill a key role in creating foundational capabilities that can be reused and applied across business analytic needs. You have the opportunity to serve as an expert resource in providing architectural solutions to address functional and non-functional requirements of strategic programs and delivery projects. The technology used for integration is IBM's Information Server Suite and the EDW could be housed in either IBM or Teradata platform.
Core responsibilities:
- Extend the industry standard data model for specific needs of UHC projects
- Provide architectural solutions and services for data intake, integration and enrichment covering data architecture, data structure, meta data, data quality and data security for the EDW and other initiatives
- Architect solutions for key business initiatives ensuring alignment with Enterprise Architecture future state analytics vision
- Work closely with the project teams as outlined in the SDLC engagement model to provide guidance in implementing solutions at various stages of projects.
- Engage constructively with project teams to support project objectives through the application of sound architectural principles
- Develop and validate that the proposed solution architecture supports the stated & implied business requirements of the project
- Review technical team deliverables for compliance with architecture standards and guidelines
- Adopt innovative architectural approaches to leverage in-house data integration capabilities consistent with architectural goals of the enterprise
- Identify and define the effective application of foundational services tools towards business use cases
- Collaborate with the Ingenix Enterprise Architecture team to evolve and clarify the enterprise's future-state analytic architectural constructs
- Create architectural designs for different stakeholders that provide a conceptual definition of the information processing needs for the delivery project

Qualifications

- 10 + years in the IT profession
- 5 + years experience creating DM / DW architectures
- Experience with 3NF for VLDBs
- Experience with relational and dimensional data modeling
- Proven experience to interpret logical data models and ensure alignment with business requirements
- Data modeling experience (conceptual, physical and logical) and experience using ERWin or another data modeling tool
- Experience in creating architectural artifacts using UML for different stakeholders
- Experience with Meta Data tools and techniques a plus
- Experience with data quality and data profiling tools
- Experience with various data intake, staging and integration methods.
- Experience in incorporating world-ready features
- Experience building and/or delivering against long-term, strategic technology roadmaps
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas (both verbally and in writing) to executives and technologists
- Ability to consult with business and technology representatives and to negotiate satisfactory outcomes for all
- Success leading multiple projects through the entire SDLC
- Excellent facilitation, verbal, and written communication skills
- High accountability with a demonstrated ability to deliver
- Relevant Bachelor's degree
