Job Description
The Corporate Development Manager will support Brocade's growth objectives into new markets and will be an integral part of the corporate M&A process. The CDM will provide intimate knowledge of specific market segments and drive corporate awareness and strategy for those segments. The candidate will possess the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources to create objective analysis that lead to actionable strategies.





Qualifications:

- Ability to successfully handle multiple projects simultaneously and show poise under pressure.
- A proven ability to engage with 3rd party executives and to build constructive, working relationships
- Ability to manage multiple relationships with a variety of objectives involving different technologies and markets.
- A proven ability to take ownership of a project and aggressively drive it towards concrete results
- Extensive knowledge and experience in data networking and security markets
- Strong business analytic skills
- Solid leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with strong oral and written skills in presenting to executive teams
- MBA from a top tier university

Preferences
The ideal candidate will possess solid leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. S/he must be a high-energy individual who operates with strength of personal conviction, a persuasive negotiator while at the same time a team player. The candidate should be well versed in Microsoft Office applications and adept at creating content and presenting to an executive audience. S/he should be skilled at setting priorities, and be flexible enough to rapidly change directions to adapt to changing market conditions, competitive threats and opportunities.
