Test and repair medical electronics assemblies and boards to the component level
We are looking for an experienced electronic repair technician who can test, troubleshoot and repair complex electronic assemblies to the component level with a minimum of supervision and documentation. The basic requirements of the job are: Able to read and understand test procedures, block or wiring diagrams and schematics Can identify electronic components on a schematic and in circuit Competently use test equipment such as network analyzers, DMM, capacitance and inductance meters, noise figure meters and oscilloscopes Troubleshoot and repair digital and analog circuits, Understand operation of diodes, transisors, operational amplifiers and standard logic gates as well as passive components such as resistors and inductors Ability to create and use technical documents using Microsoft Office products Understand AC and DC circuits Knowledgeable in tehcniques applied to high power electronics
Skills required: Troubleshoot and repair fixed frequency RF receive coils Solder skills to include through hole and surface mount Troubleshoot and repair high power pulsed DC coil drivers and power supplies Troubleshoot and repair closed loop computer controlled servo type circuits Troubleshoot and repair switching and linear power supplies Desired Skills: Experience with Copley Controls or Dynard amplifiers and power supplies a plus
