This prestigious Atlanta Headquartered company is seeking a strong Corporate Controller.

The Controller reports to the CFO who is a CPA that is interested in mentoring the right candidate for succession planning role.

The Controller will lead the accounting team and enhance the accounting operations at the corporate headquarters. The Controller will lead a team of approximately 12 and will provide leadership responsibility for Payables, Receivables, Collections, GL, Financial Statements, Cash Management, Payroll, Sales & Property Taxes, Month End Close, and General Accounting.

The ideal candidate will have prior Controllership experience.

The Controller will also partner with other members of the senior management team to negotiate and review contracts, as well as provide guidance and manage the accounting and finance staff.

Job Requirements:

•MBA or CPA •8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience. •Thorough understanding of accounting concepts / GAAP. •Demonstrated management and leadership abilities. •Strong attention to detail with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. •Proficient knowledge of financial reporting systems and MS Office applications
Preferred Skills:

Prior Audit, Public accounting, fortune 500 or financial services experience. CPA / MBA or Master of Accountancy
