As an Underwriter I, you will provide focused customer service and support for all commercial underwriting transactions. This includes analyzing risk for new and renewal business, making sound decisions in support of profitability through accepting, modifying or declining new and renewal business. This position plays a key role in cultivating and developing high quality company-agenecy and company-client working relationships by visiting and communicating with agents on a regualr basis.

Qualified candidates will have a Bacherlor's degree in Insurance, Business or related field and a minimum of 1 year of experience underwriting insurance (Workers' Compensation preferred). The ability to analyze and interpret information plus attention to detail also required.
