Lead Integration Engineer: SGT, Incorporated

Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies (SGT, Inc.) a growing government contractor is seeking a Lead Integration Engineer on our contract at the EROS Data Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The Lead Integration Engineer will support the Landsat Data Continuity Mission (LDCM) Ground System (GS) Integration Lead, coordinating cross-agency Integration discussions, planning and Integration and Test (I&T) schedule development and execution.

• Lead and facilitate development and maintenance of the Ground System Integration Plan, coordinating with the GS leads and element development leads for input, planning and content reviews.

• Provide GS I&T expertise and engineering leadership in the definition, development and maintenance of critical documents appropriate to a large-scale satellite Ground System for I&T, which includes, but is not limited to the Ground System I&T Plan, Ground Readiness Test Plan, Ground Verification Plan.

• Support the NASA mission-level I&T definition and planning activities (Mission readiness Tests, Mission Simulation Plans, etc.).

• Participate as required at cross-agency and cross-contract I&T Working Groups, Technical Interchange Meetings, and status meetings.

• Lead the GS Integration Working Group for planning, coordinating and executing integration activities.

• Support EROS Flight Operations Segment/Mission Operations Center (FOS/MOC) Integration Planning, coordinating activities with (Flight Operations Team (FOT) and NASA

• Provide leadership and guidance on engineering aspects of the development and integration of the Ground System including cross-segment and element issues through system analysis and design, system integration, and decision analysis and resolution.

• Provide engineering & integration leadership on all Ground System reviews.

• Prepare briefing materials and participate as required at Element and GS Reviews, Working Groups, Technical Interchange Meetings, and status meetings, both internal and external.

• Provide coordination with Ground System Infrastructure as required to establish and execute plans for integration of facilities and equipment into a single Ground System.

• Support GS I&T Fiscal Year and Project Planning including, the USGS LDCM Project Work Breakdown Structure, Technical Support Services Contract (TSSC) Work Breakdown Structure and related dictionary entries, the TSSC Work Commitment and USGS LDCM Project Plan.

• Provide GS I&T Task Management, including scope, schedule and budget management and communication, status reporting, risk management, customer interaction, cross-agency and cross-contract coordination.
