Consultant - Heathcare Supply Chain/ Materials Manager

This position is for a Healthcare Consultant that specializes in supply chain and materials management. Experience with process improvement and work flow processes is needed to assist healthcare institutions with improving their internal processes and becoming more efficient. Interested in individuals with backgrounds specific to supply chain. This individual will also fill interim Director roles.

. The individual that holds this position is responsible for the following:

  • Consults, as a team member or individually, with clients to define a need or problem area
  • Determines scope of investigation required to obtain solution
  • Conducts studies, surveys, data collection and analysis to advise on or recommend solutions, such as installation of alternative methods and procedures, changes in processing methods and practices, or redesign of products and services, etc.
  • Assists client with implementation of recommended solutions
  • Performs data analysis, report writing and presentation of findings to the client
  • May function in an interim management role on client site
  • May function in a project manager role if appropriate

Experience in management required, at the Director level a plus. Experience as a consultant a plus. A Bachelor's degree is required and certification in your specialty also a plus.

May have up to 100% travel to customer site.
