BROAD FUNCTION AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION:
The NEO Analyst is responsible for day to day management of Brand Marketing's portion of the NEO Forecasting Tool. This includes working with cross-functional team members to ensure NEO output is of the highest accuracy and usability possible.
PRINCIPAL CONTINUING RESPONSIBILITIES IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE:
• Act as Brand Marketing Department's subject matter expert on NEO.
• Act as Brand Marketing's primary point of contact for NEO related information as it pertains to Marketing, IT, Finance, and Demand Planning. This includes:
o Data integrity"periodic review of models to ensure accuracy of information
o Leading trouble-shooting: if errors are found, working with the respective data owners to achieve resolution
o Reporting: working within marketing and with other teams to update reports as needed for team leaders
o Training: provide introductory and on-going training to marketing teams in the use of NEO
o Working with marketing teams as needed for monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc business reporting
Additional responsibilities on specific product segments may include:
• Defining performance enhancement opportunities that will improve the efficiency of forecasts
• Reducing time required to forecast
• Improving accuracy of forecasts
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: BA/BS degree with strong quantitative/analytical curriculum (e.g., finance, accounting, statistics).
Years of Experience: 1-2 years relevant experience with a background in consumer packaged goods marketing, sales, or consulting is desirable.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Strong computer literacy required with advanced skill in Microsoft Excel; intermediate PowerPoint proficiency.
• Excellent quantitative analytics and careful attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well with a wide variety of functional disciplines.
