Medical Supply Coding - Certified Professional Coder: Datapros For Healthcare Inc.

As a Consultant, you will serve as practice leader for medical supply coding. Position requires up to 100% reimbursable travel to hospital clients across the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Manage projects involving the hospital charge capture process in place for the adequacy of the controls, documentation, and efficiencies in the current process.
• Assist with establishing charge methodologies and policies in accordance with the outpatient prospective payment system.
• Offer clients a quantifiable return on investment with measurable outcomes.
• Perform departmental redesigns from the point of charge entry to electronic claim submission.
• Perform compliance and medical record reviews for hospital outpatient services. Utilizing the Medicare system, these reviews include identifying services not being billed, codes not electronically transmitted, payment reviews, and compliance issues.

Minimum educational requirement is a Bachelor’s Degree. Clinical experience is highly desirable. Certification by the AAPC is required.
