Medical Affairs Strategic Project Manager Job Summary
Responsibilities Description: · Responsible for the successful planning, managing, and execution of key Medical Affairs initiatives. · Interfaces with Medical Affairs Leadership and stakeholders to understand and solve complex business challenges. · Enables best practice sharing and consistent use of commonly defined processes, tools, and templates. · Facilitates timely and effective decision-making. · Develops effective frameworks, presentations, and communications that facilitate achievement of project goals. Major Responsibilities · Quickly understand business challenges and champion the needs of a variety of Medical Affairs stakeholders. · Provide clarity to nebulous business issues and develop actionable solutions that drive positive business outcomes. · Develop clear and accurate project work plans to facilitate effective project management and prioritize/manage project work. · Solicit active engagement from project stakeholders, subject matter experts, and others in the organization as appropriate. · Manage Medical Affairs projects to ensure high-impact, timely, and on-budget delivery. · Provide direction and leadership to cross-functional project resources (both internal and external). · Facilitate timely and effective decision making. · Anticipate, identify and resolve business risks/issues. · Develop effective frameworks, presentations, and communications (written and oral). · Define and monitor key performance indicators/metrics to measure initiative successes. · Create process designs to streamline and simplify business processes. · Enable best practice sharing and consistent use of commonly defined methods, processes, tools, and templates. Qualifications · Bachelor's degree · Pharmaceutical Medical Affairs experience · Project Management experience and expertise · Demonstrated ability to lead and produce results in a matrix environment: "Lead without Authority"
