ProClaim provides ancillary billing services to over 1,700 extended care facilities throughout the United States. Our programs offer the most efficient means of capturing Medicare Part B reimbursement for covered residents in long-term care facilities and home-bound residents.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The AR Administrative Assistant (AA) provides general administrative support to the Primary and Secondary Collections departments and Cash Applications department staff.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
An Associates Degree or equivalent required. A minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience required.
PREFERRED OFFICE/MACHINE EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE:
Adept at using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher), capable with personal computer, printers, copiers, fax machine, calculator, internet/intranet, and electronic mail.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Administration Assistant for Accounts Receivable will be responsible for: · Scanning documentation, including but not limited to remittance notices, review paperwork, patient documentation, adjustment forms, refund requests · Mailing claim forms to third party payors · Responsible for shredding PHI when required to meet HIPAA compliance · Sorting reimbursement correspondence · Checking eligibility status via internet or other software programs · General data entry · Assist with policies and procedures manuals; · Gathering information and developing process standardization documents · Arrange and coordinate client, staff and committee meetings · Maintain a good attendance record.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform any other duties as assigned.
