Job Description

•Workout, discuss and drive final agreement to have a quality management system for the Chattanooga factory to certify the factory according to ISO/TS 16949 or ISO9001 standards. •Maintain and continuously update factory QM system and documentation. •Prepare and organize factory certification process.

Role Responsibilities

1. QM System Definition: Define a Quality Management (QM) System for the Chattanooga Factory Organization. Coordinate the definition of all processes, process measurements and necessary documentation together with key contacts from all factory departments. Ensure an agreement with all involved parties. Define methodical approaches to agree on process standards with other organizational units and documentations of rules like PEP-Handbook, ORL (Organizational Rules Guides), OA (Organizational Orders), Norms and laws …

2. QM System Maintenance: Continuously check, update and improve the QM system to ensure the QM system is always up to date and valid for certification.

3. Management Support: support and consult the factory management to workout, maintain and develop the QM System.

4. System Audits: Coordinate and organize internal Systemaudits. Workout and arrange concepts and rules to improve the QM-System.

5. ISO Certification: Prepare and lead the process to have an ISO/TS 16949 or ISO 9001 certification for the Chattanooga factory.

6. Communication: Closely communicate the status of the QM System development and the Certification process to the key contacts in all factory departments. Keep the Quality Management and the Factory Management up to date about the progress and risk for certification.

7. Documentation: Ensure together with key contact from all factory departments, that Management Binder and QM System documentation is always up to date and ready for certification.

Work flexibility (travel requirements, work schedule, etc.): •Be flexible to travel on short notice and travel outside the USA •Being able to promptly adjust work plans to address urgent tasks •Being available outside regular work time in urgent cases
