Job Description - Nuclear / Radiation Detection Scientist to conduct research and development on radiation detection technologies in support of federal sponsors in Homeland Protection and National Security. Qualifications: Required - PhD in physics or relevant engineering field with a strong background in experimental or computational science relevant to nuclear material detection for national security. Several years of research experience post PhD required. Experience in the application of detection technologies in support of national security and/or emergency preparedness. Demonstrated record of scholarly publications required. Strong written and verbal communications skills required.
