Looking for an experiences Sales manager for our Agricultural business



Candidate may live in mid-west or west coast city with access to a major airport.

Accountable for the achievement of established sales targets focusing on 3 agricultural businesses: feed, food, and related testing (nutritional labeling, contaminants, pesticide residue) and opportunities in key geographic regions such as the Midwest and the West Coast of the US.


• Visits potential customers to prospect for new business
• Issues quotations and proposals and negotiates fees, terms and conditions for program clients.
• Negotiates the terms of an agreement and closes sales
• Independently develop and collaborate on sale proposals, working closely with laboratory staff to ensure that project scope, schedules and budgets are accurately planned, monitored, communicated and met.
• Analyze sales performance by category, account and client.
• Visit existing clients throughout US to maintain business and seek new business opportunities.
• Work with laboratory supervisors and staff to meet customer expectations.
• Responsible for follow up with clients after project closure.
• Develop new revenue producing projects.
• Provide input to the design and implementation of advertising and marketing campaigns to support the sales budget.
• Conduct marketing studies and surveys to determine market needs and to monitor customer satisfaction.
• Represent the Company at Trade Shows and Conferences.
• Ensure that personnel and staff health & safety, environment, productivity, and quality priorities are addressed and optimized in accordance with all regulations and company policies.
• Travel is required.
