Position Title: Shift Administrator, #09-86

Department:Clinical Services Administration
Position Description: The Shift Administrator is responsible for the management of the hospital and for the direction and supervision of all clinical service functions and activities in the absence of a Leadership Team Member. Is responsible for the quality of patient care and ensures that sufficient and properly prepared staff is available. Is knowledgeable of social, economic, and legal issues affecting the healthcare systems.
Status/Schedule:
Status:Per DiemShift:Variable
Shift Time Schedule:Primarily Evening and Nights.Average Weekly Hours:Approximately 8 hours per pay period.
Days:No on-call duty required. Weekends required as needed.
Salary Range:Minimum:$28.03Midpoint:Maximum:$32.93
The above wage range reflects the minimum and maximum hiring range for this position.

Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Experience:Demonstrated ability in nursing practice and administration. Four years recent clinical experience required. Minimum of two years supervisory experience and minimum of three years staff experience required.
License Required:Current licensure as an Registered Nurse in the State of Vermont.
