Director of Patient Access Services in Southern United States



Nearterm Corporation, a privately-held Texas corporation established to provide nationwide search and selection consultation exclusively to the Healthcare industry currently has an opportunity for a Director of Patient Access Services.

This position is located in the Southern United States for a 600-bed facility.

Director of Patient Access Services

· Supervise all admission, registration, pre-certification, insurance verification, financial counseling, and cashiering.

· Responsible for 65 Points of Service and supervision of 80 FTE’s.

· Provided leadership within the department as well as interdepartmentally.

· Improve performance in Pre-Registration and Insurance Pre-Verification.

· Improve overall Accuracy rate and up-front Collections.

· Assess and make changes to the current policies and procedures to improve performance and patient satisfaction.
