Caritas St. Elizabeth's Medical Center Boston - Department: Performance Improvement/Risk Management - Full-time 40 hrs/wk, Mon - Fri, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm - Day shift Under the direction of the Caritas St. Elizabeth's Director of Quality and Safety you will oversee a team providing support of performance improvement and risk managment activities and strategies for the hospital. Projects include but are not limited to: core measure data abstraction, review and analysis; development and implementation of quality improvement strategies, incident report follow up and review, participation in Joint Commission and DPH reviews and more. In general, we'll look to you for expertise in developing processes and managing project task forces to ensure improvement activities are coordinated addressing quality and patient safety agendas.

Qualifications: - 3-5 years experience in an in-patient acute care setting working on patient centric Quality Improvement and Risk Management programs, strategies and initiatives. - Require previous and current Risk Management and team supervision experience - An RN is highly desired. - Other required experience includes; a good knowledge base of DPH and Joint Commission regulations/standards, Core Measures, AHRQ Patient Safety Indicators. - We look for individuals in this capacity that can take a project management approach and can exhibit leadership qualities. - A BSN is preferred.
