Education Liaison, Milwaukee

Purpose:

To generate qualified leads from outside organizations and community associations for Kaplan businesses.


Measurement of Success:

â-¡Attend minimum of 3 events per week.
â-¡Generate 4 KU enrollments per month.
â-¡Demonstrate strength in the following areas: Judgment, Communication, Working Relationships, Professional Development, Customer Service and Organization.


Principal Responsibilities:

â-¡Identify, create and attend lead-generating events.
â-¡Develop and encourage prospective student interest in Kaplan programs.
â-¡Refer qualified leads to Kaplan business unit Admissions teams.
â-¡Effectively forecast monthly enrollments.
â-¡Be a team player in an independent work environment.


Position Requirements / Scope of Job / Skills Required:
â-¡Strong verbal and written communication skills.
â-¡Strong time management and organization skills.
â-¡Position will require learning to use proprietary information databases and CRM software.
â-¡Aptitude for understanding metrics, and using them to develop and implement strategic plans.
â-¡Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
â-¡Positive attitude and a passion for higher education.
â-¡Ownership of performance and results.
â-¡Valid driver's license, transportation, and willingness to travel 60% of the time.
â-¡Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Likely activities breakdown:

60% - Travel and event attendance.
20% - Business Development activities.
20% - Team meetings and administrative activities.


Experience Required:

â-¡Bachelors Degree
â-¡3-5 years business development experience.
â-¡Self-starter with a proven ability to self-manage, learn quickly and exceed expectations in a performance driven environment.
â-¡Excellent interpersonal skills with an aptitude for networking and developing new business relationships.
â-¡Admissions background a plus.
