Job Description
Provides on-site ARTPC expertise to Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC), supporting responsibilities under DODD 5200.39, AR 70-1, and DA PAM 70-3. Responsible for providing technology protection support to all supported organization R&D and acquisition efforts. Works directly with Command staff, scientists, engineers, and program managers, providing expert process improvement and problem-solving support. Performs assessments of, and implements improvements to technology protection plans and program protection plans concentrating efforts on critical program information (CPI) assessments, threat integration, vulnerability analysis and risk assessment, system security engineering, and the development of comprehensive countermeasures plans. Minimum/General Experience: Minimum of 15 years experience, of which at least 10 years must be specialized with significant experience in warfighting systems development programs, from research and development through technology integration into an acquisition program; understanding of the requirements for preliminary and critical design review and developmental and operational testing. Must be certified or possess capability to be certified in the Army Program Protection Planning Process with a particular emphasis on critical program information assessment and determination, threat integration, vulnerability analysis and risk assessment, technology assessment/control plans, system security engineering, and the development of comprehensive countermeasures plans. U.S. military or government civilian experience essential.
Required Skills
Education: Masters; Engineering degree in discipline relevant to assignment - Bachelors Degree in Engineering, or significant experience and demonstrated skills in supporting engineering programs. Clearance: TS/SCI required.
