Woodcraft Supply, LLC, a leading mail order and retail supplier of fine woodworking tools, supplies and classes, has an opening for the following full-time position based in Parkersburg, WV:

Product Manager

This position reports to and provides support to achieving the goals established by the Director of Product Development. The successful candidate will exhibit a high level of organizational ability, time management, and be detail oriented.

Primary Responsibilities
· We are looking for a cradle to grave "business owner" able to manage all facets of product line management including new product identification and leadership.
· Provide necessary support to Sales, Internet, and Marketing departments while assisting Purchasing with inventory management and assuming P&L responsibility.
· Must be able to lead towards continued cost reduction efforts.
· Effectively solicit new products from vendors ahead of our competition.
· Sell new product ideas during a weekly management committee meeting.
· Provide effective support that directs pricing, collateral generation, and creation of sales tools.
· Must be familiar with and have a strong interest in power and hand woodworking tools.
· The ideal candidate will have a strong woodworking background.

Qualifications
· A bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience in business or engineering field.
· Ability to effectively work with people at all levels within the Woodcraft organization.
· Proven ability to work in an organized, accurate manner.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong ability to provide necessary follow-up to support departmental deadlines.
· A high level of professional negotiation skills.
· Analytical ability to determine the net changes brought about by vendor price changes.
· Must have strong PC skills coupled with knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
· Ability to provide self-direction and prioritize multiple projects.
· Exhibit a positive, professional attitude while handling the daily pressures of business.
