Abilene Pharmacist: Complete Pharmacy Resources

Provide excellent patient care by facilitating the distribution of medications to both inpatients and outpatients and by reviewing their treatment regimens and therapies to obtain optimal therapeutic outcomes. Oversee the activities and duties of pharmacy personnel in the central pharmacy and on the nursing units. Coordinate the pharmaceutical care of the patient by working with nurses, physicians, and other members of the health care team in both the central pharmacy and in a decentralized role on the nursing units.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D. Hospital and/or retail experience. Completion of program from accredited school of pharmacy. Licensed as registered pharmacist in state of TX. Orientation timeframe- 6 months.
