Senior Member Service Specialist - Full-time

RBFCU is currently seeking 2 Sr. Member Service Specialists for the Austin area. We have openings at the North Austin and Seton branches.

Provide enthusiastic, professional, quality service to members, and non-members. Process various inquiries and transactions as directed by properly identified members. Recommend products and services to members to enhance their quality of life. Maintain current working knowledge of RBFCU Member Handbook, policy and procedures, and information contained in the Smart Screen. Comply with applicable regulatory laws pertaining to the credit union and internal policies and procedures. Maintain control of cash and negotiable instruments, prepare various teller reports, open and close branch during extended hours, maintain overriding authority and escort members into designated areas when requested. Resolve escalated member issues, mentor new employees, and perform employee scheduling when assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Four-years of financial institution experience and/or a combination of 10 plus years customer service experience required.
  • High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) certificate required.
  • Type 25 WPM and 10-key by touch. Proficient in utilizing PC, software and other office equipments.
  • Teamwork and dedication to develop strong relationships with coworkers. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good attendance and promptness is pertinent.
  • Must be able to move up to 50 pounds and able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Good vision (correctable), hearing, and manual dexterity are required to perform most of the duties within the position.
  • Able to work a flexible Monday through Saturday schedule.
