Primary job responsibilities:

The Global Product Development team is looking for a world-class, results-oriented and innovative Product Manager. The Product Manager is very 'œhands-on'� and responsible for portal product planning, design and development throughout the product lifecycle. The PM must gather and prioritize customer requirements for our global portal platform and collaborate very closely with IT/Engineering and cross-functional stakeholder teams to deliver on financial and customer satisfaction goals. The PM must be knowledgeable of customers in our industry, business processes and user roles and what constitutes the best portal customer experience.

Key job responsibilities include the following:

• Interface directly with the customers to understand, document, design, develop and test the best possible portal customer experience.
• Drive the portal product definition including requirements, user stories, use cases, wireframes and information architecture.
• Participate in portal architecture design and technical reviews.
• Work closely with IT/Engineering on project plans and engage cross-functional teams early in the life cycle.
• Manage customer usability and beta testing.
• Capture and prioritize customer feedback (bugs, enhancement requests and new requirements) into releases and the global portal roadmap.
• Report portal roadmap status and results for key performance indicators.
• Vet and communicate portal roadmap and changes proactively with key stakeholders globally and during executive reviews.
• Collaborate with regions, define and apply Globalization requirements in global portal roadmap.
• Build and deliver portal product training.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate has the following characteristics:

• 5+ years of experience in web/portal product management, design and/or development.
• Preferred knowledgeable and experienced in networking and telecommunications.
• Proven record driving product from idea to launch and post-launch analysis/look back.
• Experienced in user-centered design and product development lifecycle management.
• Preferred knowledgeable and experienced in Scrum as a Product Leader.
• Ability to deliver effective business proposals, roadmaps and requirements documents.
• Ability to build relationships internally and externally, interfacing at all corporate levels.
• Influential communication directly with customers (verbal, written, presentation and negotiation).
• Proven project manager and global cross-functional team leader.
• Thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and can track multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
• "Can do" attitude, team player, fun, energetic personality.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, MBA a strong plus.
