Position Description:
This position will implement and administer the Subversion Source Code Control tool and the AnthillPro 3 Application Lifecycle Management tool for all distributed applications within UnitedHealth Group including implementation of Continuous Integration and reporting on code quality metrics.

The Build Engineer position will implement the AnthillPro 3 Application Lifecycle Management tool for all Java and .Net applications within UnitedHealth Group including implementation of an agile Continuous Integration and Testing process.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Drive the engagement process with each application team to migrate their source code into Subversion
  • Work with application teams to implement application builds using AnthillPro 3 for all distributed applications within UnitedHealth Group
  • Facilitate the transition of application build processes into a Continuous Integration environment complete with code quality metrics
  • Develop enterprise coding standards and integrate their verification and reporting into the Continuous Integration build process

Qualifications

Requirements:
  • 2+ yrs source code control tool experience
  • 2+ yrs experience working on UNIX and Windows build scripts including Ant, nANT, Maven, and MSBuild
Assets:
  • Experience working with AnthillPro 3 or similar tools (Cruise Control, Hudson...)
  • Product exposure to one or more of the following (or similar) is desired: Maven, Ant, nANT, MSBuild, Subversion, Mercury ITG Governance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
