MAMMOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGIST

Operates mammography equipment to produce radiographs of adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or ability to competently perform QC related to mammography. Additionally this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Certified in Mammography as defined in the ACR/FDA/MQSA standards. Qualified to perform stereotatic procedures and/or QC specific to mammography.1–3 years experience in mammography. 1 year experience in stereotatics and/or QC specific to mammography. Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
