Consultant, Peri Operative Nurse

Job Purpose: The Peri-Operative Nurse Consultant is accountable to the Nursing Manager for coordinating and integrating educational, consultative, evidence-based practice, and research functions into ongoing nursing practice.
Education Requirements:
BSN or BA/BS in related field
Required license, registration, certification or professional affiliation
Current license to practice in Oregon.
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of current regulations/standards of practice
Customer-focused service skills
Group process skills
Project management experience
Principle of adult learning
Excellent verbal and written communication
Research methodology
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year management experience
5 years education experience
5 years clinical experience in specialty
Hours: 40 hours per week, day shift.
