These positions are with small to medium sized rapidly growing tech companies that are publicly traded. They are located in Oakland and San Carlos.

You will be involved in all financial aspects of the company, providing analysis to enable decision making through planning, reporting, and value added analytical activities. You will support members of the senior management team in meeting their business objectives and you will also be supporting external reporting, development of reports to the Board of Directors, and Investor Relations.

Responsibilities include:

-Support Services, Support, Research and Development management with the development of Operating Plans, Strategic Plans, expense forecasting and budgeting, reporting and analysis
-Advise and consult with senior management on financial and business issues
-Work with services management on services revenue forecasts
-Own and maintain forecast and budget models (excel)
-Preparation and distribution of monthly and quarterly financial reports and analysis to both Sr. Management and the Board of Directors.
-Responsible for ensuring financial and key business metrics are accurate and efficiently reported
- Implementation of new reports as needed to facilitate current operational and strategic business objectives
-Performs ad hoc data analysis as requested by management using knowledge of the data warehouse and reporting tools in support of business objectives
-Maintenance and improvement of the budgeting and forecasting tools.
-Support of external reporting requirements and investor relations.

Requirements:

-BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics with 2-4 years relevant experience; MBA a plus
-Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel: ability to create and manage pivot tables, create complex formulas and macros.
-General finance expertise and strong analytical skills
-Organized, manages time well, and meets deadlines.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Enjoys a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
