Product Demonstrator Team Lead
As a CROSSMARK Product Demonstrator Team Lead you will complete in-store food/product demonstrations/events, acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented, demonstrate products, engage consumers and sell products, and maintain high standards of customer service to increase sales.
Hours per week: 16-20
Shift: days Thursday- Sunday
Must be able to effectively communicate in both English and Spanish
Job Highlights:
· Demo schedules are Thursday through Friday between 10:30 am – 4:30 pm and Sunday from 12:30 am to 6:30 pm each week
· Event table, materials and equipment provided at the store
· Outside employment is permitted as long as it does not interfere with CROSSMARK responsibilities
· Regular, consistent demos schedule
Candidate expected to complete the following tasks:
· Management and maintenance of the equipment and supplies used for demonstrations
· Build rapport and communicate regularly with store management
· Point person for all demos being conducted in the store; assist other product demonstrators with demo kits, materials and tools as needed
· Prepare and serve food samples utilizing raw meats, produce, microwaves, hot plates, oil, and kitchen utensils
· Demonstrate the benefits of consumer package goods to consumers
· Distributes point of sales materials
· Set demonstration tables
· Assist with preparation for client visits and completes audit corrections
Requirements:
· Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
· Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
· Professional appearance and proper grooming
· Basic computer skills
· Daily access to a computer that is connected to the internet
· Must be able to pass National Registry Food Safety Professional Certification (local food handlers permit maybe required)
