Global Patient Saftey Associate with a World Leading Biotechnology Company



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Receive and process adverse events, preparing the report for submission to the appropriate authorities and/or agencies. This includes ensuring all reporting documentation is complete, following up on incomplete information, and accurately capturing the receipt of all information in appropriate databases. Identify and alert management and other groups as soon as a trend is recognized.
2. Provide safety expertise on assigned products. This includes answering telephone and written inquiries.
3. Participate on cross-functional project teams including representing Global Patient Safety to ensure accuracy and compliance with domestic and international regulatory requirements.
4. Perform other duties as appropriate.

SKILLS
Understanding of safety filing procedures and a working knowledge of domestic and international regulatory requirements.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with standard word processing, spreadsheet and database packages. Expertise with medical terminology.

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in healthcare-related field and at least 1-2 years of patient safety/pharmacovigilance experience.
