Position Description:
The ITG Deployment Analyst will lead the implementation and integration of Release Management services which adhere to Change and Configuration Management standards and best practices.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Consult with application development and infrastructure support teams regarding Release Management service implementation and standards adoption
- Gather detailed requirements, create system specifications and support the design, development, test and implement activities
- Effectively interface with application teams, internal support groups, and with Business IT application support areas
- Identify and provide Release Management key performance indicators and management reporting summaries
- Manage, guide, train, instruct and assist others on process and functionally related Release Management topics
- Lead team's refinement of technical and operational service offerings
- Assist in aligning services with other service operation areas
- Drive continuous improvement of Release Management standards towards enterprise wide adoption
Qualifications Qualifications:
Requirements:
- 3+ yrs experience working within a large IT organization with experience working with Unix and Windows
- 2+ yrs experience as an Analyst (Business, or Systems)
Assets:
- 3 years experience using Microsoft Office tools, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- 1-3 years experience working with ITG / PPM
- Understanding of web, app, and DB technologies
- MS Project experience
- Bachelor's Degree
