Territory Sales Manager for Automotive Aftermarket
Develops and maintains strong business relationships with key customer contacts and represents the customer to CARDONE's Sales leadership. Is an advocate internally for meeting the customers' needs and requirements, solves problems and exercises autonomy to act, within guidelines set by Sales policy and procedure, in the company's best interest. Analyzes customer needs, resource requirements and market trends and effectively communicates to Sales leadership. Develops proposals, presentations and business plans for key accounts, performs line reviews and reviews customer forecast data to help maximize CARDONE and customer inventory turns and profit potential. Coordinates projects relating to key accounts which impact internal departments and personnel including, but not limited to, changeovers and stock adjustments. Analyzes and controls expenditures within area of responsibility to conform to budgetary requirements. Monitors and evaluates the strategies, tactics and products of the competition. Develops expertise in all sales-related customer and CARDONE systems and processes and becomes a capabilities expert. Effectively manages time and effort in a way that serves to accomplish stated goals and objectives. Demonstrates excellent multi-tasking skills and balances multiple priorities. Recommends or approves budget, expenditures, and appropriations for research and development work. Will need to attend customer and industry trade shows as well as prepare sales and customer activity reports. Other duties as assigned
