The General Manger Designate position prepares you to become a General Manager of a Party City store after an exciting and intense training period. During this time, the GMD will learn our business and gain a thorough understanding of how we operate. The GMD will work closely with the District Manager, Loss Prevention Manager and Human Resources Manager in their respective market. The GMD will collaborate with the Regional Manager to gain further understanding of what is expected of a General Manager.

To be considered for the GMD position in our Ford City location you must possess the following requirements:

  • Minimum 2 - 5 years experience as a Store Manager
  • Hands-on management style
  • Excellent, friendly Customer Service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize & take initiative
  • Strong communication and analytical skills ( including P&L responsibilities experience)
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities
  • Passion for retail and a drive for success
  • Prior management experience in a mid to big-box store
  • Bachelors degree in Business or Retail Management (preferred)
