Wizards of the Coast, a subsidiary of Hasbro, Inc., the world's largest publisher of adventure games, including Magic: The Gathering® Trading Card Game and Dungeons & Dragons® Roleplaying Games have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Brand Manager (Magic: The Gathering) to join our team.

Note –there is no relocation assistance for this position.

Position Purpose: Responsible for interpreting strategic direction and providing leadership and recommendations in the development and implementation of tactical product and marketing plans

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities:

  • Write and execute marketing communications plans per direction set by the strategic marketing plan, including Advertising, Promotion, Trade Shows and Conventions, Website, Merchandising, and Public Relations.
  • Lead the execution of tactical marketing campaigns with cross-functional teams including international marketing managers. Act as key contact for internal MarCom, Event, Web, and Production teams. Deliver results on time and on budget and recommends solutions when issues arise.
  • Make key tactical decisions on quality, cost, and timing for marketing materials under parameters set by Brand Manager.
  • Work with finance to track and manage tactical budgets. Provide regular status reports to supervisor and recommend solutions for avoiding cost over runs.
  • May be assigned to prepare sales/marketing presentations.
  • Assist in research, analysis and making recommendations on market trends and competitive activity.
  • May act as liaison with business partners.

*Requires occasional travel.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

· BA/BS or equivalent experience required, preferably with a concentration in Marketing or related coursework.

· Minimum of 2-3 years of marketing experience required.

· Experience writing and managing implementation of tactical marketing plans required.
