Job Description
:
Principal Electrical Engineer for Analog Design (Power supplies, Filters, and Mixed Signal Control/Interface Circuitry). This is an expert level position that requires a high level of understanding of analog circuit design and development. A minimum of 10 years experience in power supply design and development is required.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in analog design, component selection, simulation/test, converter design, EMI filtering, transient protection, and printed circuit board layout
- Extensive knowledge of high frequency switching power supply topologies, power factor correction, feedback control architectures, and electrical/thermal protection methods
- Proven ability to take a design concept at block diagram or requirements level and develop a completed hardware design
- Proven ability to use analytical tools to analyze and simulate designs prior to hardware execution
- Basic MSOffice skills
Desired Skills:
- Detailed knowledge of MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-1399, and MIL-STD-461
- Expertise in magnetics design and analysis
- Built in Self Test (BIT) expertise
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
Desired Education:
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
The candidate must have the ability to obtain security eligibility within 6 months, as a condition of employment.
