Job Description

This position directs plant operations and maintenance activities at the Olefins fractionator in compliance with company standards and regulatory guidelines and in a safe, efficient and environmentally sound manner for a division that operates an olefins fractionator and cryogenic gas plant in South Louisiana for a diversified energy services firm. Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: operating processes and maintaining site operations for a fractionator plant; generating and administering work permits, LOTD and MOC; implementing and communicating operating and maintenance procedures and policies; generating and auditing P&ID; consulting and collaborating with others on construction projectsand optimization matters; collaborating with others to identify opportunities for improvement and to resolve operating issues; loading and unloading trucks; preparing and administering preventative maintenance work orders; ahdering to company and federal standards and regulations; and other duties as assigned or required.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of DOT, OSHA & LDEQ regulations concerning the shipping and handling of Hazardous Materials, the properties of LP Gases and the storage and handling of these products , Hazardous Material General Awareness, shipping papers, container marking and labeling and proper shipping of containers
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a group
• Ability to solve problems
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Good initiative and judgment dealing with day to day activities
• Ability to establish goals and courses of action, budget time and set priorities
• Self starter with strong interpersonal and team-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks

Experience Required

• Two years of experience in plant operations, such as a fractionator or gas plant operator including responsibilty for safety and regulator compliance preferred
