Assistant Photographer - Hebron, KY

Amazon is looking for a Shooting Assistant for its digital footwear photo studio. Successful candidates will be strong communicators, very detail-oriented, have a passion for photography and styling.

* Must be able to manage, organize, clean and prep footwear samples for photography, up to 150 a day.
* Contributing, maintaining and updating style guides.
* Making continual process improvements and maintaining the documentation for these improvements.
* Supporting photographer with tasks such as setting up lights as well as other general studio tasks.
* Organization and maintenance of studio and styling supplies.
* Could work as a backup photographer, so a strong working knowledge of studio photography will be required
* Must have the ability to work a varied schedule during peak season.

Qualifications:
* 2 year or 4 year degree in photography and/or related field is a plus
* 1-3 years of experience as an assistant/assistant photographer in digital studio is required
* Superb eye for visual composition and attention to detail
* A strong online portfolio of print and online materials is a plus
* An obsession for delighting customers
* Working knowledge of Photoshop, Leaf Capture and/or Phase One
* A proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
* Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
* Basic to intermediate skills in Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Word required
* UNIX and/or SQL skills a plus
