Assistant Director, Data Management and Analysis: American Society of Clinical Oncology

The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) is seeking an Assistant Director of Data Management and Analysis with strength of experience specifically focused on database, analytics and information management. Responsibilities of the Assistant Director include:

· Responsible for the daily oversight and management of all ASCO databases supporting mission-critical systems

· Play a key role within the database group and IT department to ensure the creation of effective business systems and solutions

· Prioritize and assign work, ensure on time deployment of projects, ensure smooth daily operation and highest quality

The Assistant Director should possess:

· Targeted, hands-on experience with database design, administration, and analysis

· Depth of skill managing professional, cross-functional teams

· Advanced academic credentials in Business Management, MIS, Computer Science, or related discipline combined with more than 10 years of relevant experience

· Focused understanding of how design can be utilized to meet goals in an association environment

· Experience in analytics and distilling project data into meaningful results

· Experience with Association Management software such as iMIS, Raiser’s Edge and Solomon Financial Systems is a plus

· Strength of communication combined with an ability to make your point clearly, effectively, and with diplomacy
