Job Description:

  • Provide second-tier support to end users for either PC, server, or mainframe applications and hardware, associated with the US Army Corporate Dental Application, a web-based initiative for patient scheduling, provider (doctor) workload and readiness data with a client-server front end for the collection of this data.
  • Additional critical tasks being executed in support of the CDA system include a dental enterprise wide digital radiography (DR) program that will include a central storage of all DR images that is accessible worldwide and the establishment of a Continuity of Operations (COOP) site (backup location) at a geographically separate location.
  • Future clinical interface, workload, scheduling and patient encounter interfaces will include other Military Health System (MHS)/ Health Affairs (HA) systems – AHLTA Dental Block2, Defense Medical Human Resources System – internet (DMHRSi), Enterprise Workload Reporting System (EWSR), etc.
  • Handles problems that the first-tier of help desk support is unable to resolve.
  • May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and / or identify and correct core problems.
  • Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
  • Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems.
  • Duty Hours between 07:30 AM and 04:30 PM Monday through Friday excluding Federal Holidays.

  • Travel - Approximately 10% travel (worldwide as requested)

Job Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma and at least 4 years related experience in Help Desk/Direct Customer Support. (Interchange education and experience for higher degreed individuals).
  • Demonstrated Knowledge of network and Tier 1 and 2 Response Techniques and experienced user of the MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Current Comptia Security+ Certification required
  • Current A+ Certification required
  • Current Microsoft MCP or MCSE/MCSA Certification required

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience in the US Army and it’s medical/dental work areas is a big plus.
