IP Phone Linux System Software Engineer

Location: Austin, TX, United States
Type: Full-Time
Department: Engineering

We are looking for a linux expert that is passionate about building our next generation of IP Phones.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for IP phone Linux system software.
  • Work closely with the hardware team to ensure a high performance and reliable system design.
  • Create Linux device driver, networking, file system, diags, management and upgrade software for a new line of IP phones.
  • Lead Linux practices (including source control and build environments, and resolving issues).
Job Requirements:
  • over 5 years experience developing Linux system software modules.
  • Experience with Linux file systems, and networking protocols
  • Strong proficiency with C/C++.
  • Excellent problem solving and communications skills.
  • Candidate should possess initiative and drive and be an excellent team player.
  • Prior experience with embedded software for enterprise products will be a strong plus.
  • Experience with Agile/Lean development practices is a plus.
