WestCon Medical, a 25-year-old medical products specialty distribution company, is seeking an individual with experience successfully marketing wound care products in the San Jose , CA , region.

As a member of Alliance Medical (alliancemedical.org), WestCon Medical is a privately held, rapidly growing California based company that provides representation and distribution for a variety of emerging medical manufacturers. We are ideally seeking an individual with a track record of successful surgical &wound care sales experience calling on the hospital market. Our representatives call on OR's, Wound Care Centers , home care pharmacies, surgery centers, oncology centers as well as hospitals so individuals with experience in other areas of the medical industry will be considered for this position.

The successful candidate for this unique opportunity can be described as a “sales pro” that has demonstrated an ability to thrive in the medical industry while working independently. That person is commission driven, entrepreneurial and is energized by the challenge and income potential of representing manufacturers whose products offer leading edge technology in a highly competitive marketplace. Persistence, effective cold calling ability, high personal expectations and an innate natural desire to rapidly grow revenues and personal income are a must.

First year compensation: $48,000 - $60,000. Position offers realistic $100,000+ potential for the right person. In addition, 401k and a generous expense account are included.
