Raytheon IIS Human Resources is responsible for the development of HR priorities in direct alignment with business strategy, working in partnership with business leaders as a coach and architect of change. HR is a mission-critical partner that is an effective ambassador of change, creating a work culture that attracts and retains key talent and provides solutions for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop long term national recruiting/retention strategy that includes education, technology/research and diversity for fulltime, intern and co-op positions for Raytheon IIS
- Develop annual recruiting strategy in collaboration for each recruiting season
- Coordinate the selection of schools and Campus Teams for all recruiting and strategic schools.
- Lead a team of University Programs recruiters located at multiple sites across Raytheon IIS.
- Ensure and measure success of overall performance and results of Raytheon representatives who are involved in various campus related roles
- Partner with line managers on requirements definition/workforce planning

Maintain strategic relationships with university officials, product line/functional leaders and HR
- Provide and maintain business-wide metrics/reports related to university recruiting
- Keep abreast of industry trends and benchmarking studies to remain competitive
- Coach and influence all levels of management on the importance of implementing and maintaining university and diversity partnerships
- Manage an effective internship program that provides a broad range of opportunities for students with a focus on identifying full time employees
Required Skills - 8 years minimum experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition with and emphasis on university recruiting
- Formal participation in college recruiting activities
- Demonstrated ability to influence people at all levels
- Superior communication skills
- Ability to travel 30 – 40%
Desired Skills - Experience interfacing with Technical people
- Broad experience in other HR disciplines
Required Education - Bachelor's degree minimum
This position can be based in Garland, TX or Falls Church, VA.
